Dark and twisty. The perfect beach read because you can’t stop turning pages. The couple next door is messed up, but you’d never know from the outside. And at first you don’t even know which couple is the couple. I love the mystery, the turns in the story, the many different motives, the myriad possibilities, and the hope that things will end well.
It’s hard to write a review for this kind of thriller because saying too much will ruin the experience. Suffice it to say when I was finished, I felt like I’d been gut-punched, and forced to complete too many SAT logic questions, but the ride was satisfying. It’s definitely a good, quick read.
